Stage Door Series: Lennon, the Mobster, and the Lawyer Tuesday March 20

Saluda resident, Jay Bergen, a New York trial lawyer for 45 years, represented John Lennon most notably in his protracted court battle with Morris Levy, a narcissistic Mafia front-man working within the 1970’s NY music industry scene. Over the course of the trial, Lennon and Bergen became friends. Mr. Bergen will surprise and delight with personal anecdotes about the times he spent with John, Yoko Ono and other rock and roll royalty.
